Digitising

Digitising (or digitizing) is the conversion of a logo into a stitchable format that embroidery machines can read.  It is a skilled task and it is the digitising – more than anything else – that affects the quality of the finished embroidery.

We have our own in-house digitiser who has many years of experience in making your logo look amazing when embroidered.  When choosing an embroidery company, always ask where the digitising is done, as many competitors use overseas digitising services.  This may be a little cheaper, but the quality of the embroidery can suffer, along with your brand image.  This can also mean there is a delay in any changes being made.

For the best design results our digitiser requires high resolution art in preferably .eps or .bmp formats but can also use .pdf, .gif, .tif and .jpg formats.  Quality input equals quality output.

We can also scan hard copy artwork such as business cards and letterheads of high resolution print.

After digitising and colour matching your logo, we will send an image to you for approval.  A stitched sample of your design can be provided upon request, to ensure you are as thrilled with the results as we want you to be.
